Raised in Sanger, California, in the heart of the Central Valley, Dr. Gonzalez worked alongside her parents in the grape and walnut fields. Her upbringing instilled a strong work ethic, humility, and a belief that education opens doors to opportunity and transformation. These experiences continue to shape her deep commitment to rural communities and equitable access to opportunity for all students.
