Preston students visited by the person who helps make their dream possible

The four SCHOLAR™ students from China who were admitted to the MSc programme in Business Administration (IT) at the University of Central Lancashire, were thrilled to meet Mr Rex Wilton, Chairman of the SCHOLAR™ International Examining Board, the person who helps make their dream come true, when he visited them on the 1^st November 2003.

The visit turned out to be very beneficial to all parties. It gave EEI-SCHOLAR™ the opportunity to understand how the students adapted to campus life in Britain, any problems they may have experienced, and how future students may be better prepared. On the part of the students, it was a timely assurance that they had not been forgotten, and that another local avenue was available to turn to for help should the necessity arise.

Regular on-campus student visit is an integral part of EEI’s mission in promoting international understanding through education.
