EEI and HKMA sign Memorandum of Understanding

A
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was concluded between EEI and Hong Kong
Management Association (HKMA) on the 28th of August, 2003 to establish a SCHOLARä Regional Centre in Hong Kong.
Under
the MOU, HKMA will conduct the SCHOLARä International Advanced Diploma in Business & Information
Technology (ADBAIT) programme in bilingual mode (Chinese and English).
ADBAIT is specifically
designed to equip students with knowledge of modern business environment and
the application of information technology in the business process. The award is made upon completion of 3
constituent diplomas, namely, the Diploma in Software Technology, the Diploma
in Web Technology and the Diploma in Business Science.
Holders of ADBAIT
qualification may be admitted to the final year of Bachelor degree programmes
in specific British universities in on-campus mode or by distance learning.
The
ADBAIT programme will be made available to students in Southern China through
HKMA’s network of academic partnerships with Chinese training establishments.
