EEI and International University in Germany Conclude Articulation Agreement

An Articulation Agreement was signed between EEI and the International University in Germany (IU) when Dr John Pang, EEI¡¯s CEO for Asia-Pacific visited Bruchsal, where IU is situated, in late February 2004.

Under the articulation arrangement, students who complete the following 9 subjects of the SCHOLAR™ Advanced Diploma in Business & Information Technology (ADBAIT) programme may be admitted to a two-year degree completion programme leading to the Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology awarded by the University:

ITF401              Fundamentals of Information Technology

DST101            Principles of Programming

DST103            C/C++ Programming

DST104            Java Programming

DST105            Software Engineering

DWT202           Web Page Design & Development

DWT203           JavaScript & VBScript

DWT205           E-Commerce

DBS301            Principles of Business Administration

All IU students carry out an internship during the final year of their respective studies.  These internships account for a significant portion of the overall grade, and require students to implement successfully the knowledge they have gained in the classroom.  They are real assignments, and tackle real company problems.  Students have recently carried out internships, for example, at Audi, ABB, DaimlerChrysler, EML, EnBW and SAP.  Internships often lead to career opportunities.
