EEI recognises the importance of, and its responsibility in
community work. As such, it has set up
a fund code-named FISSION (which is the acronym for Fund In Support of Students In Obvious Need) to provide educational
opportunities to under-privileged pupils in the remote areas and promising
young people of each of the
participating country.
Such
sponsorship includes bursaries, postgraduate scholarships, the adoption of
pupils and classes in schools, and the promotion of language teaching
methodology.
